5.26 One more from a series taken back in March. Jamie rising with a hangover and an extemporaneous stream of self love and loathing.

5.19 Brandon was with me at the office yesterday working on a research project for school. At the end of the day, for the fun of it, I caught the same photo of him that I caught the other day of Ron Grundseth. It seemed appropriate as the two had become friends during the day and Brandon had just finished interviewing Ron for the assignment.
Question number nine of Brandon's interview was "Ron, it's casual Friday, why are you wearing a suit?" Ron's deadpan answer: "Oh, it's almost Monday."

5.18 Chastity has found a manager, put a band together and has been playing around town a lot. Go see her if you can. She's a huge talent with a great big soul. Everyone got goosebumps at the Acadia show. Powerful stuff.

5.15 Ron Grundhauser is a salesman through and through and I didn't think I could ever mean that in a good way, but I do. He manages to wear the aire of slick insurance salesmanship so perfectly askew that it does not offend. He pulls this off with consummate comic acting, playing a tongue-in-cheek characteriture of the confident motivated pitchman live at the office. You notice the act, and he knows you notice it but he keeps on playing it because he also knows you're not quite sure if it really is one or not because he never breaks character and he does take sales very seriously (without appearing to). The guy's a gem.

5.9 They make a great breakfast at the Ideal, and its customers are apt to pay your bill when you're not looking if they like your family. Great spot. Been going there for years.
