Yeah, another spider. I love getting macros like this one, though. Super fine detail like a David Fincher signature macro CG shot. Imagine this photo as a still from Fight Club to get my drift. If you look close a fine strand of web can be seen extending from the creature's bizzare abdomen.

Steubing fell ill yesterday evening and would not take food. He died in my hand hours later as I was trying to get him to take water. Strangely, my wet hand holding him recieved a soft electrical charge at the moment he passed. I don't know what that means, but... there it is.

This mousling showed up cold, blind and hungry in the middle of my bedroom floor last night. Too young to fear humans, he ate the toast I dipped in diluted milk for him. Then I held him under my desk lamp and he stopped shivering and fell asleep in my hand. He's approximately a week old.
I've named him Steubing.

Did some night photography out in the field in the full moon last night and learned the hard way to not rely on my camera's autofocus at night. This was one of the only shots that worked. :(
